HTC Sensation

Sesuai jadwal yang telah diumumkan sebelumnya, lewat sebuah acara konferensi pers yang digelar di London, HTC secara resmi umumkan smartphone terbaru bertajuk HTC Sensation.
Smartphone ini selain hadir dengan platform Android Gingerbread juga telah menyematkan prosesor berbasis dual-core berkekuatan 1.2 GHz, GPU Adreno 220, dan RAM 768 MB.
Tak hanya itu, HTC Sensation juga tampil apik dengan suguhan layar berukuran 4.3 inchi qHD S-LCD dan kamera dengan resolusi 8 MP dengan dual LED Flash yang berkemampuan merekam video 1080 p dengan kecepatan 30 fps.
Pada sektor interface smartphone ini telah dipoles dengan HTC Sense UI yang telah diperbaharui. User interface baru ini menawarkan ‘active lockscreen’, aplikasi email yang telah diperbaiki, animasi lebih baik dan notifikasi cuaca yang terlihat lebih realistis plus adanya layanan terbaru HTC Watch. HTC Sensation juga memiliki kemampuan memutar film dengan berbagai format video termasuk format XviD.       

Menariknya lagi, HTC Sensational juga hadir dengan berbagai pilihan konektivitas termasuk di dalamnya port MHL, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dan Bluetooth v3.0. HTC Sensation juga dilengkapi dengan kamera sekunder beresolusi VGA untuk video call, memori berkapasitas 1 GB, dan radio FM.
Jika ditilik dari spesifikasi yang dibawanya HTC Sensation yang sebelumnya juga dikenal sebagai HTC Pyramid ini bisa dikatakan mirip dengan HTC 3D EVO minus fitur 3D.
Menurut sumber yang dikutip PULSAonline HTC Sensation akan diluncurkan secara eksklusif pertama kali di Eropa. Adapun wilayan lainnya menyusul kemudian pada bulan Juni. Hanya cukup disayangkan, berapa banderol dari smartphone ini belum diketahui.

Laptop Hybrid Sony Terbaru

Macbook Air telah terbukti sebagai laptop yang cukup sukses di tingkatnya, dengan menjadi laptop super tipis dengan daya tahan baterai yang cukup lama laptop ini cukup diminati.
Kompetitor dekatnya, Sony juga tidak mau kalah dengan Apple, Sony yang saat ini telah memiliki jajaran laptop Vaio yang sudah bertahun-tahun teruji kualitasnya kini akan mencoba menandingi MacBook Air dengan memproduksi rivalnya bernama Hybrid PC.

Hybrid PC besutan Sony ini akan ditenagai oleh prosesor Core i7, SSD, desain yang ultra tipis, konektifitas HDMI 1.4, Wi-Di, bobot yang ringan dibawah 2.5 pound. Ketika dipasang di dock, Hybrid PC akan bertransformasi menjadi perangkat pengganti desktop yang menawarkan grafis Radeon HD 6700M, Blu-ray burner, koneksi VGA dan Ethernet, serta konektor spesial yang membawa USB dan power AC.
Daya tahan baterainya dalam kondisi tanpa terhubung ke dock dikabarkan akan dapat bertahan 8-16.5 jam. Sepertinya sulit dipercaya, namun bukan berarti tidak mungkin bukan. Sony masih belum membeberkan tanggal peluncuran dan kisaran harga yang akan dibanderol “Hybrid PC”. Kita tunggu saja............

iPhone Generasi Baru Bakal Hadir September 2011?

Kabar burung terkait akan hadirnya penerus dari iPhone 4 memang telah berhembus sejak beberapa waktu lalu.
Kini, kabar tersebut kembali menyeruak di dunia maya. Bersumber dari perkataan tiga orang yang dekat dengan masalah tersebut, portal berita ternama Reuters, melaporkan bahwa para pemasok komponen untuk penerus dari iPhone 4 ini akan mulai berproduksi pada bulan Juli tahun ini.
Tak cukup sampai di situ, sumber yang tak disebutkan namanya itu juga mengungkapkan bahwa berkemungkinan smartphone anyar besutan Apple ini bakal dirilis ke pasar pada bulan September mendatang persis setelah masa produksinya berakhir.
Secara detail memang tidak diungkapkan spesifikasi yang akan dibawa oleh suksesor dari iPhone 4 ini. Meski begitu, smartphone baru dari Apple ini akan disematkan prosesor yang lebih cepat, walau secara umum masih terlihat mirip dengan iPhone 4. Hal itu seperti dinyatakan oleh satu orang dari sumber tersebut.

Nokia dengan Symbian Anna penyempurna Symbian^3

Nokia terbukti masih setia dengan platform Symbian-nya. Bagaimana tidak, meski tengah sibuk menggarap beberapa smartphone berbasis WP 7, baru-baru ini pabrikan ponsel asal Finlandia ini merilis dua smartphone Symbian terbarunya, yakni E6 dan X7.
Ditilik dari modelnya, kedua smartphone berplatform Symbian ini menyuguhkan kemampuan layar sentuh. Perbedaannya, Nokia X7 hadir dengan suguhan layar sentuh berukuran 4 inchi, sementara E6 cukup elegan dengan tampilan keyboard QWERTY plus layar sentuh VGA 2.46 inchi.

Smartphone ramping dengan dimensi 115.5 x 59 10.5 mm hadir dengan balutan kombinasi kaca dan stainless steel. Smartphone ini dipaket dengan jaringan quad-band 2G dan five-band 3G. Fitur 3G pada Nokia E6 telah ditingkatkan dengan 10.2Mbps HSDPA dan 2Mbps HSUPA.

Fitur konektivitas lain yang disuguhkan smartphone ini di antaranya Wi-Fi b / g / n dan Bluetooth 3.0 dengan JoikuSpot Premium (aplikasi yang dapat mengubah ponsel menjadi hotspot Wi-Fi). Sementara untuk urusan pengabadi gambar Nokia E6 dibekali dengan kamera berkekuatan 8 MP fixed focus dengan dual LED Flash dan berkemampuan merekam video HD 720p. Nokia E6 juga telah menyematkan memori berkapasitas 8 GB, serta slot kartu microSD yang mampu menampung data hingga 32 GB.
Menariknya lagi, Nokia E6 juga dibekali baterai yang diklaim mampu mendayai sampai 28 hari dalam keadaan stanby dan 15 jam ketika digunakan untuk bicara.

Nokia X7
 Smartphone full touchscreen ini sedianya bakal hadir dengan layar nHD AMOLED berukuran 4 inchi dengan Gorilla Glass dan dibalut stainless steel pada bodinya.

Nokia X7 dipaket dengan jaringan 2G quad-band dan tri-band 3G. Tak hanya itu, Nokia X7 juga dibekali fitur konektivitas Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.
Sama seperti E6, kamera pada Nokia X7 memiliki resolusi 8 MP lengkap dengan dual-LED flash dan mampu merekam video 720p.
Selain kartu microSD berkapasitas 8 GB dalam paket penjualannya Nokia X7 juga dilengkapi dengan headset Nokia WH-701.
Kedua smartphone Nokia ini, telah menjalankan OS baru Symbian Anna, versi update platform Symbian^3 yang telah lama ditunggu-tunggu.
Dari sumber yang dikutip PULSAonline dikatakan bahwa kedua smartphone ini akan digulirkan pada quarter kedua ini dengan banderol di kisaran $500 untuk Nokia E6 dan $550 untuk Nokia X7.
